Our specificity
We respect nature
Kubo-Beach was created in 2018.
The idea was to build bamboo bungalows, typical Philippine style of living allowing a comfortable and cool stay, without a heavy infrastructure.
Kubo-Beach Cottage, adheres to the values of sustainable tourism.
We respect the opinion of the World Tourism Organization which defines it as tourism meeting the current needs of tourists and host regions while protecting and improving prospects for the future.
We encourage respect for the environment, reducing water and electricity consumption.
Our buildings are made of bamboo and nipa, and do not require the use of air conditioning for fresh ventilation.
For catering, we get our supplies from local suppliers and village markets.
We are located on the passage of Verde Island, whose ecosystem is one of the richest in the world for underwater fauna and flora. This invites us to respect and protect this environment.
We regularly organize visits to the “Isle of Verde Island”, in small numbers. We also organize small trekking in the mountain, in order to discover the forest, and the waterfalls.
